Scope: This standard specifies the allowable values of energy efficiency, evaluation values of energy conservation, target allowable values of energy efficiency, test methods and inspection rules for general-purpose computer monitors (hereinafter referred to as monitors). This standard applies to cathode ray tube display devices (hereinafter referred to as CRT monitors) and liquid crystal display devices (hereinafter referred to as LCD monitors) used by computers that work normally under grid voltage, and also applies to computer monitors with tuners/ Receiver's display device.
