GB/T 21428-2008
Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for generating sets consisting of reciprocating (RIC) internal combustion engines, alternating current (ac) generators, control devices, switchgear and auxiliary equipment required for operation, with a voltage not exceeding 1000V. This standard applies to land and marine generator sets. It is not suitable for van-type marine gensets for ocean voyages, off-shore vehicle gensets, and aviation, land-based vehicles and locomotive gensets. Special requirements for use in potentially explosive atmospheres are not specified in this standard.
