- This part of GB/T 17680 stipulates the basic requirements for emergency field radiation monitoring, sampling and analysis of nuclear power plant operators. It covers issues related to emergency field radiation monitoring, including organization, staffing and training, equipment and supplies, procedures and techniques, and sample analysis. This section does not involve routine environmental monitoring, nor does it involve dose assessment. This part applies to emergency field radiation monitoring, sampling and analysis activities of nuclear power plant operating organizations.
