- This standard specifies the requirements for low-pressure mercury vapor discharge ultraviolet germicidal lamps. This standard applies to double-ended, single-ended or self-ballasted ultraviolet germicidal lamps produced with quartz glass or other purple-transparent glass, with or without ozone, and with a peak wavelength of ultraviolet radiation of 253.7nm.
