- This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of non-ferrous metal eddy current separators for solid waste. This standard applies to non-ferrous metal eddy current separators for solid waste (hereinafter referred to as eddy current separators). This eddy current separator is used in conjunction with feeding equipment to separate non-ferrous metals (such as copper, aluminum) and other non-magnetic metals mixed in solid waste.
