This standard specifies the requirements, sampling, inspection methods, marking and packaging of heating resistor alloys. This standard applies to resistance alloys used in the manufacture of thermal elements and current-limiting resistors in low-voltage electrical appliances such as thermal overload relays and low-voltage circuit breakers.
