- 1 Method - High-frequency infrared absorption method This method specifies the determination method of carbon and sulfur content in copper and copper alloys. This method is applicable to the determination of carbon and sulfur content in copper and copper alloys. Measuring range: carbon 0.0010% ~ 0.20%; sulfur 0.0010% ~ 0.030%. Method 2 Combustion-iodometric method This method specifies the determination method of sulfur content in copper and copper alloys. This method is applicable to the determination of sulfur content in copper and copper alloys. Measuring range: 0.00040% to 0.0020%. Method 3 Combustion titration method This method specifies the determination of sulfur content in copper and copper alloys by combustion titration method. This method is applicable to the determination of sulfur content greater than 0.010% (m/m) in various copper and copper alloys listed in the ISO international standard.
