This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and order (or contract) content of tantalum powder. This standard applies to tantalum powder prepared by sodium reduction, mechanical preparation and electron beam melting, etc., for use in the production of tantalum electrolytic capacitors with different operating voltages and specific capacitances.
