GB/T 20995-2007 Power electronics for electrical transmission and distribution systems- Testing of thyristor valves for static VAR compensators (English Version)
This standard specifies the type test, factory test and option test of thyristor valves. These thyristor valves are suitable for use as components of Static Var Compensation (SVC) for power transmission and distribution systems, namely Thyristor Controlled Reactors (TCR), Thyristor Switched Reactors (TSR) and Thyristor Switched Capacitors (TSC). The requirements of this standard apply both to single valve units (single-phase) and to multiple valve units (multi-phase). Chapters 4 to 7 of this standard describe the type test in detail, that is, the test used to verify whether the valve design meets the specified requirements. Clause 8 outlines factory tests, ie tests used to determine manufacturing quality. Chapters 9 and 10 detail optional tests, that is, additional tests other than type tests and factory tests.
