Scope

This standard specifies the terms used and their definitions, the requirements that the measurement system shall meet, the method of approval and calibration of the measurement system and its components, and the procedure for the system to be verified to meet the requirements of this standard. This standard applies to measuring systems and their components for measuring voltage and current in direct voltage, alternating voltage, lightning and operating impulse voltage, impulse current, and combined and composite voltage tests.
