This part of SC/T 7203 specifies the principles, reagents and materials, instruments and equipment, operating procedures and result determination of the PCR detection method for shrimp hepatopancreatic parvovirus disease. This section is applicable to the qualitative detection of hepatopancreatic parvovirus (HPV) in live shrimp, chilled shrimp products, their feces, and sensitive host samples. Not suitable for estimation of viral load or infectious activity and assessment of host infection level.
