Scope

This standard specifies the standard gauge railway locomotive stock gauge, the structure, basic form and size, technical requirements, installation adjustment, quality inspection, coating and marking of the upper gauge and lower gauge. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and installation of upper gauges (basic gauges, widened gauges) and lower gauges.
