Scope

This standard stipulates the structure, type size, technical conditions, installation adjustment, quality inspection, coating and marking of the lower gauge of standard gauge railway rolling stock (hereinafter referred to as the lower gauge). This standard applies to the design and manufacture of lower limit gauges for rolling stock.
