Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, ordering requirements, marks and quality certificates of carbon steel forgings under pressure for general valves, flanges and pipe fittings. This standard is applicable to pressure carbon steel forgings such as general valves, flanges and pipe fittings. Non-compressed forgings can be implemented by reference.
