This standard specifies the terms and definitions, quality requirements, physical properties and hygienic indicators, inspection methods, labels, and storage and transportation requirements for edible lard. This standard is applicable to the edible lard refined by high temperature or centrifugal method to supply the market and food processing, but not to refined lard products.
