- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements for metal materials and manufacturing processes that are resistant to sulfide stress cracking and/or stress corrosion cracking for metal materials used in surface facilities in hydrogen sulfide-containing oil and gas fields. This standard applies to ground facilities that are in contact with hydrogen sulfide-containing media, such as oil or natural gas well sites, gas gathering stations, process equipment and production and gas gathering pipelines in treatment plants.
