Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of two-stroke gasoline engine oils made of high viscosity index base oil and added with various additives. The lubricating oil involved in this standard (hereinafter referred to as two-stroke gasoline engine oil) is suitable for two-stroke spark ignition gasoline engines with a crankcase scavenging system and used for transportation, leisure and other related equipment, such as: motorcycles, skis and lubrication of chain saws etc. According to the definition of GB/T 7631.17, the products of this standard are divided into three grades: EGB, EGC, and EGD. This standard covers all grades that classify the performance requirements of two-stroke gasoline engine oils.
