Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for the type, basic parameters, structural design, performance, materials, manufacturing, testing and inspection, marking and supply of single-stage cantilever double-acting liquid ring chlorine pumps (hereinafter referred to as liquid ring pumps). This standard applies to liquid ring pumps that suck or transport dry chlorine gas with an exhaust pressure not greater than 0.3MPa. The working conditions are that the purity of chlorine gas is not less than 90%, the water content is not higher than 0.6%, and the temperature of the liquid ring pump is not higher than 40°C. The circulating fluid is sulfuric acid with a temperature of not higher than 30°C and a concentration of 98% when entering the liquid ring.
