Scope: This part of JB/T 10585 specifies the product type and size, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and marking of low-voltage overhead power line insulators. This section applies to insulators (hereinafter referred to as insulators) used for insulating and fixing conductors in overhead power lines with DC or industrial frequency AC rated voltages below 1000V, including low-voltage line pin insulators (referred to as pin insulators), low-voltage line butterfly insulators Insulators (butterfly insulators for short), low-voltage line spool insulators (spool insulators for short). This section does not apply to insulators used in media that may damage porcelain and glaze.
