- This standard specifies the functional, performance and environmental requirements and test methods for National Reference Clock (PRC) and Regional Reference Clock (LPR) equipment. This standard applies to primary reference clock equipment used in primary nodes of digital synchronization networks. The digital synchronization network planned and constructed from this source can support a variety of telecommunications services and meet the synchronization requirements of the SDH transmission network.
