Scope
This standard is applicable to independent node slave clock equipment in digital synchronization networks. Its corresponding clock levels are synchronization with the node clock of level 2 and synchronization with the node clock of level 3. This standard specifies the frequency accuracy, pulling-in/holding range, drift/jitter generation, input drift/jitter tolerance, drift transfer characteristics, hold performance, phase discontinuity, and phase instantaneity of slave clock equipment at all levels. Change and maintain lock performance, phase reconstruction area performance and corresponding functional verification and performance testing methods. The various timing characteristic requirements proposed by this standard are the design indicators of independent node slave clock equipment under the conditions described in this standard. It is also suitable for network access testing and equipment selection of independent external devices. Factory inspection can also be performed with reference to this standard. Regarding the timing characteristics requirements of the non-independent node slave clock, please refer to (Digital Synchronous Node Clock Series and Its Timing Characteristics). Regarding the timing performance test method of the non-independent node slave clock, please refer to the relevant provisions of this standard.
