- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification and marking, shape and specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, transportation and storage of fiberglass protective tubes for cables (hereinafter referred to as protective tubes). This standard applies to fiberglass protective tubes formed by winding and rolling for cables, and can also be applied to fiberglass protective tubes formed by other processes.
