Scope: 1.1 This standard specifies the determination of the purity of sec-butanol for industrial use by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of industrial sec-butanol samples with a purity greater than 98% (mass fraction) and an impurity content of not less than 0.001% (mass fraction). 1.2 This standard does not address all possible safety issues. Therefore, users of this standard are responsible for taking appropriate safety and health measures and ensuring compliance with the conditions stipulated in relevant national regulations.
