Scope
This standard specifies the composition, function, performance and environmental requirements of small office station synchronous clock equipment (Mini-BITS) as well as test room methods. Small office station synchronization clock equipment that meets the requirements of this standard is suitable for edge network nodes of backbone networks, small end offices and edge network nodes in local networks, metropolitan area network aggregation layer nodes, access network nodes, and mobile base stations. It can provide the required timing reference signals to communication equipment such as digital switching equipment, SDH equipment, ATM equipment, and mobile communication equipment.
