- This standard applies to control circuit appliances and switching elements used in switchgear and control equipment for control, signal, interlocking, etc. This standard applies to control circuit appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding AC 1000V (frequency not exceeding 1000HZ) or DC 600V. For those whose working voltage is less than AC or DC 100V, see Note 2 of 4.3.1.1. This standard applies to the following special types of control circuit electrical appliances: ——manually operated control switches, such as buttons, rotary switches, foot switches, etc.; ——electromagnetically operated control switches with delayed or instantaneous action, such as: contactor type Relay; ——Indicating switch, such as: pressure switch, temperature sensitive switch (thermal switch), program controller, etc. - position switches, such as control switches operated by machines or parts of machinery; - related control circuit appliances, such as indicator lights, etc. Note 1 Control circuit appliances include control switches and related appliances, such as indicator lights. 2 The control switch includes the switch element and the operating system. 3 The switching element can be a contact element or a semiconductor element. This standard is also applicable to specified types of switching elements connected to other electrical appliances (the main circuit of which complies with other standards), such as: - Auxiliary contacts of switching electrical appliances (such as: contactors, circuit breakers, etc.), the contacts and Coils not only used for electrical appliances; - interlock contacts on the enclosure door; - control circuit contacts of rotary switches; - control circuit contacts of overload relays; In addition to the category, it should also meet the relevant requirements and tests of GB 140484. This standard does not cover relays or automatic electrical control devices for household and similar purposes covered by IEC 60255. See IEC 60073 for the color requirements of indicators, buttons, etc.
