Scope
The BMA series connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50Ω and are designed to connect flexible and semi-rigid cables with insulation outer diameters up to 3.00 mm in blind-mating low-power microwave applications. This connector is used up to at least 18 GHz. This sub-specification provides detailed specification content and rules for formulating BMA series RF connectors, as well as the format of blank detailed specifications. This sub-specification also stipulates the size of the mating interface of the general connector, the specific size of the 0-level standard test connector, and the rules and tests of all detailed specifications applicable to the BMA series connector selected from GB/T 11313. This sectional specification provides recommended performance characteristics that should be considered when writing a detail specification. It includes test schedules and inspection requirements for M and H rating levels.
