Scope

This standard specifies the method summary, reagents, samples, analysis steps, expression of analysis results and tolerances for the determination of aluminum oxide by EDTA volumetric method. This standard applies to the determination of the amount of alumina in silicon carbide refractory materials that do not contain heavy metals such as zirconium, manganese, and chromium. Measuring range: aluminum oxide 1.00% to 60.00%. This standard complies with GB1467 "General Rules and General Provisions of Standards for Chemical Analysis Methods of Metallurgical Products".
