- Scope
- This standard specifies the artificial climate accelerated aging test method that uses an open carbon arc lamp (referred to as "carbon arc lamp") as the light source to simulate and intensify the main factors of natural climate. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of weather resistance of plastics under the condition of exposure to carbon arc lamp light source, and is also applicable to the comparison test of weather resistance among similar materials.
