- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product models, conditions of use, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs and instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of electromagnetic stirrers. This standard applies to electromagnetic stirrers for continuous steel casting (continuous casting) of various blank shapes and electromagnetic stirrers for steel, aluminum and copper smelting furnaces. Other electromagnetic stirrers can be implemented by reference.
