Scope

This document specifies the test method for hand-transmitted vibration measurement of the handle part of the hand-held portable stone hammer, and determines the type inspection procedure for the vibration of the grip part of the handle when the stone hammer is operated under the type test state. The measured results are used to compare the vibration of different models of machines of the same type. This document applies to engraving pens and masons' stone hammers (see Clause 5) driven by compressed air or other means. This document does not apply to hammer machines for demolition work in construction projects, or air shovels for metal materials. Note: To avoid confusion between "power tool" and "insert tool", throughout this document "machine" is used instead of "power tool".
