Hand-held portable power tools—Test methods for evaluation of vibration emission—Part 4:Straight grinders (English Version)

Scope: This part of GB/T26548 specifies the test method for measuring the vibration of the handle of a straight grinder, and determines the type test procedure for the magnitude of handle vibration when the machine equipped with the specified test wheel is running under no load. This section is applicable to the use of type 1 flat grinding wheel, type 4 double bevel grinding wheel and type 16 (conical grinding head with core), type 18 (cylindrical grinding head with core), type 18R (cylindrical grinding head with core) driven by compressed air or other means. Core hemispherical grinding head), Type 19 (core elliptical cone grinding head), a hand-held machine with cored grinding head and wire brush for grinding and surface finishing operations on various materials (see Chapter 5). The measured results are used to compare the vibration amounts of machines of the same type and different models. This section does not apply to mold grinders in which the insert tool is mounted on the chuck. Note 1: Typical machines covered by this section are shown in Figures 1 to 3. Note 2: In order to avoid confusion between the terms "power tool" and "insertion tool", "machine" is used throughout this section instead of "power tool".
