- This document specifies the lightning current and lightning overvoltage of low-voltage distribution lines and electronic systems, insulation coordination and insulation levels, insulation tests and their requirements, and the selection and application of lightning protection measures. This document applies to low-voltage distribution lines and electronic systems with AC rated voltage not greater than 1000V and DC rated voltage not greater than 1500V.
