Scope

This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of the content of aldehydes in acrylonitrile. This standard is applicable to the determination of total aldehyde content (calculated as acetaldehyde) in acrylonitrile, and the determination range is 0.00005-0.005% (m/m).
