This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for determining the relative degree of heat resistance of rubber conveyor belt coverings, and specifies the allowable range of changes in hardness, elongation at break and tensile strength of coverings exposed to heat. This standard applies to cases where the thickness of the covering layer is equal to or greater than 4 mm. This standard does not apply to conveyor belts specified in ISO 21183-1 [1].
