Scope: This document stipulates the prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes (hereinafter referred to as the insulated pipes) consisting of high-density polyethylene outer protective pipes (hereinafter referred to as the outer protective pipes), rigid polyurethane foam insulation layers (hereinafter referred to as the insulation layers), working steel pipes or steel pipe fittings. Product structure, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and identification, transportation and storage of insulation pipes) and their insulation pipe fittings. This document applies to prefabricated directly buried insulated pipes and their insulated pipe fittings whose conveying medium temperature (long-term operating temperature) is not greater than 120°C and whose occasional peak temperature is not greater than 130°C.
