This part of GB/T 2423 is used to determine the corrosion effects of the working and storage indoor environment on the components, equipment and materials of electrical and electronic products, especially the contact points and connectors. The contact points and connectors can be a single component, assembled into a component or Assembled into a complete device for assessment. The test methods provided in this part of ISO/IEC 20000 are useful for comparative selection of materials, manufacturing processes and component designs in terms of corrosion resistance. See Appendix C for guidelines on the selection of test methods and test time.
