Scope: This standard specifies the exhaust pollutant emission limits of diesel engines for non-road mobile machinery (including marine diesel engines with a rated net power not exceeding 37 kW) and the second diesel engine installed on road vehicles for carrying people (cargo) and Measurement methods. This standard applies to the following (including but not limited to) non-road mobile machinery installations, type approval, production consistency inspection and durability requirements of diesel engines working at non-constant speeds, such as: --Industrial drilling equipment construction machinery (including Loaders, bulldozers, road rollers, asphalt pavers, off-highway trucks, excavators, forklifts, etc.); --Agricultural machinery (including large tractors, combine harvesters, etc.); --Forestry machinery; --Material handling machinery; --Snow plow equipment; --Airport ground handling equipment. This standard applies to the following (including but not limited to) type approval, production consistency inspection and durability requirements of diesel engines operating at constant speed for non-road mobile machinery, such as: -- air compressors; -- power generation Unit; -- Fishery machinery (aeration machine, pond excavator, etc.); -- Water pump.
