Scope
This standard specifies the chemical composition analysis methods of S 101, S 107, S 108, S 109 and other types of vanadium catalysts with the same chemical composition for sulfuric acid production. This standard is applicable to the content range of the components to be tested: vanadium pentoxide is 5% to 10%; potassium sulfate is 15% to 25%; sodium sulfate is 1% to 15%; phosphorus pentoxide is 0.5% to 3.5 %: Antimony trioxide is 0.5% to 3%; ferric oxide is 0.2% to 2%; silicon dioxide is >50%.
