Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the organization and preparation, methods and levels, implementation, data analysis, and reporting and documentation of the operational energy efficiency assessment of water pump systems such as AC electric drive centrifugal pumps, mixed flow pumps, axial flow pumps and vortex pumps. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the operating energy efficiency status of water pump system energy-saving technological transformation projects to determine the operating status of the water pump system before the implementation of the energy-saving technological transformation project, as well as the assessment of the energy-saving effect after the implementation of the energy-saving technological transformation project. The operational energy efficiency assessment of pump systems transporting other liquid media can also be carried out as a reference.
