Scope: This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial sodium nitrite. This standard applies to industrial sodium nitrite. The product is mainly used as a raw material for the manufacture of nitro compounds and azo dyes, as a mordant for fabric dyeing, bleaching agent, metal heat treatment agent, cement early strength agent and antifreeze agent.
