Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, codes, models and examples, ordering content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, signs, quality certificates, handling, stacking and storage of zinc-aluminum alloy coated steel sections. This standard applies to the section steel (hereinafter referred to as section steel) that is coated with galvanized aluminum alloy layer on hot-rolled section steel by continuous hot-dip coating.
