Scope

This standard specifies the general principles, testing items and technical requirements, testing operations, testing cycles, testing procedures and testing report requirements for lightning protection devices on large floating roof oil tanks. This standard is applicable to the detection of lightning protection devices for floating roof oil tanks that store crude oil and refined oil and have a tank capacity of 50,000 m and above.
