Scope: This part of YY/T 0734 specifies special requirements for washer-disinfectors for moist heat disinfection of non-invasive and other medical devices. This type of washer-disinfector ensures a disinfection guarantee level (Λ value not less than 60) through cleaning and moist heat disinfection. At the same time, automatic recording of key process parameters of the cleaning process does not require an independent recording system. The requirements of this section are combined with the general requirements specified in YY/T 0734.1-2009. The washer-disinfectors required in this section are suitable for the cleaning and disinfection of reusable medical devices such as non-invasive (ie, non-penetrating the skin or non-contacting mucosal surfaces). The requirements of this section do not apply to the washer-disinfectors defined in the scope of YY/T 0734.2 and YY/T 0734.3, nor to endoscope washer-disinfectors.
