Scope

This standard specifies the accelerated life test method for daily-use tubular electric heating elements (hereinafter referred to as elements). This standard is applicable to the accelerated life test of components installed in household electrical appliances with a rated voltage not exceeding 480 V and a single tube rated power not exceeding 6 kW.
