This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, detection and test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of diesel engine variable section turbochargers (hereinafter referred to as superchargers). This standard applies to variable cross-section turbochargers for diesel engines. Variable cross-section turbochargers for gasoline engines and other fuel internal combustion engines can also be implemented with reference.
