Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of turbocharger variable nozzle rings. This standard is applicable to the variable turbine nozzle ring of the radial turbocharger, and the intake throat cross-section assembly (component) of the variable turbine shell of the radial turbocharger can be implemented as a reference. This standard does not apply to axial turbochargers.
