Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and nomenclature, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of stacked screw dehydrators (hereinafter referred to as dehydrators) for sludge dewatering. This standard applies to stacked screw dewatering machinery for sludge dewatering during sewage treatment.
