- This standard specifies the infrared spectrophotometric method for the determination of petroleum, animal and vegetable oils in water. This standard is applicable to the determination of petroleum, animal and vegetable oils in industrial wastewater and domestic sewage. When the sampling volume is S00 ml, the extraction liquid volume is S0 ml, and a 4 cm Shixu colorimeter is used, the detection limit of the method is 0.06 mgy/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.24 mg/L.
