This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope and calculation method, energy conservation management and measures for the limit of energy consumption per unit product of ethylene glycol (referred to as energy consumption). This standard is applicable to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption per unit product of ethylene-method and syngas-method ethylene glycol production enterprises, as well as the energy consumption control of new construction or expansion projects.
