Scope

This standard specifies the energy efficiency limits, energy efficiency levels and test methods for three-phase power transformers. This standard is applicable to oil-immersed distribution transformers with three-phase 10kV voltage level, non-excitation voltage regulation, rated capacity from 30kVA to 2500kVA, and dry-type distribution transformers with rated capacity from 30kVA to 2500kVA, with rated frequency of 50Hz and voltage level of 35kV~ 500kV, three-phase oil-immersed power transformer with rated capacity of 3150kVA and above. This standard does not apply to inflatable transformers and high impedance transformers.
